RAINY DAY SKIN CARE

During monsoon weather becomes more pleasant. But we should
know that Monsoon weather apart from exchanging pleasantries is also loaded
with a barrage of health problems. So we need to be more conscious than usual
in this season. Dengue and malaria-like serious health disorders is basically
the product of the monsoon season.
Due to excessive humidity and the wetness
everywhere, chances of skin infection also multiply in this season. Some of the
common diseases like skin dullness, ringworm etc.
Sweat Problem: Generally when
you travel around in rainy days you will face the sweat problem due to instant
change in weather because continuous raining is not happen anywhere and during
the break your body get sweat. As well as when you wear air tight raincoat from
inside you will get sweat problem excessive
sweating in the armpits, palms, soles of the feet, face, scalp and torso. Such
conditions can get worse during monsoon and lead to body odour and further
infections.
Solution: Shower
daily and dry body folds with soft towel thoroughly and apply antifungal
powder. Blocked sweat pores can cause prickly heat, which is best treated by
rubbing the skin with ice. Avoid deodorants as they can cause severe irritation
and redness. If you have to use deo, use roll-ons. Do not re-use clothes and void sharing clothes. If you have
sweaty feet, use open sandals and keep the insides of your feet dry by putting
them out in the sun, when possible.
Facial Problem: The infections during monsoon are facial
folliculitis, acne and ringworm. The reason of such infections is mostly
bacterial or fungal. People are more susceptible to infections during this
season due to excessive sweating, dehydration, photo-toxic effects of the sun
and, of course, humidity.
Solution: The ideal way to avoid such problems
would be to try and keep dry and avoid excess perspiration. Taking regular and
more frequent baths can help. Also, be careful of using public toilets, where
due to lower hygiene one is exposed to infections. Keep the body hydrated by
consuming 10-12 glasses of water and also apply plenty of moisturisers to keep
your skin hydrated.
Skin
problems-etching : It
is extremely common in cities such as Punjab and Mumbai, where pollution levels
are sky-high. Commonly affected areas include upper back, hands and feet. Most
often cause cannot be ascertained as allergies can have multiple sources.
Solution: Antihistamines are the mainstay of
treatment though finding out the real culprit is very important in recurrent
cases.
Hair
Problems: During rainy
season the hairs should be so frizzy and looks unhealthy .This kind of hair
should makes your look so dull and creepy. They will get stuck in each other
and not able to comb perfectly.
Solution:
To recover such a kind of
problem one can use serum which will be oil based completely. If you used oil
based serum then it will makes your hairs frizzy as well as it will catch the
dirt in your hairs when you are outside. So it will be better if you used water
based serum to handle such kind of problem. Many of the products comes under
the water based serum contain sea butter water.
